Frequently Asked Questions
What does 10x42 mean?
10x is the magnification: objects look 10 times closer than with the naked eye. 42 is the diameter, in millimeters, of each front (objective) lens. Larger lenses gather more light, so 42 mm gives a bright image even at dawn and dusk.
Can I use them with glasses?
Yes. Twist the eyecups down if you wear glasses, or up if you don't, so your eyes sit at the right distance to see the full field of view.
Are they waterproof?
Yes. They're waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof, with textured rubber armor for rain, mist, and rough handling.
How close can I focus?
Down to about 3 m (10 ft), which is handy for nearby songbirds, butterflies, and flowers.
What's in the box?
The binoculars, a carrying case, protective eyecups, a cleaning cloth, a neck strap, an iPhone adapter, and a tripod with adapter mount.
Can I take photos through them?
Yes. Clip your phone into the included iPhone adapter, line the camera up with one eyepiece, and zoom on your phone if needed.
Can I mount them on a tripod?
Yes. Use the included tripod and adapter mount for steady, long viewing sessions. It's especially helpful for stargazing.
How much do they weigh?
About 1.2 lbs, light enough to carry around your neck all day.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free on every US order. Orders ship within 1–2 business days and usually arrive 3–5 business days after that.
What's your return policy?
You can return unopened products within 30 days of purchase; return shipping is paid by the customer. If your binoculars arrive damaged or defective, we'll make it right at no cost to you.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every pair is covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
Yes. Fill out the form on our wholesale page and we'll get back to you.
